On Friday, October 21, Bird Creatives attended the Calgary Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Awards Gala. Our company was honoured to be nominated for the TD Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Award Presented by Pride in Business. An award presented to a small local business that is a leader in advancing the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion not just internally, but in the community.

We had the immense pleasure of sharing this nomination with two other incredible businesses whose leaders advance these principles in their own impactful ways, Fisher Law and Inclusion FACTOR.

In addition to the members of our incredible team, we are grateful to have shared the evening with some of our valued partners:

The evening was full of inspiring presentations of local businesses across sectors and featured several award categories such as the Helcim Emerging Growth Award, the Surecall Community Champion Award, and the ConnectFirst Credit Union Innovation Award among others.

We’d like to give our wholehearted congratulations to Inclusion FACTOR for winning the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Award, and we encourage everyone to check out the incredible work of our fellow nominees!

For Bird Creatives, being nominated for this award is a true testament to our diverse team and the vibrant nature of Calgary’s creative economy for which we have the great opportunity to work.

Visit the Calgary Chamber of Commerce’s website to check out all the nominees in every category.
